The Huron Chiefs' 8th Grade Baseball team won their season opening doubleheader against the Grosse Ille Red Devils by a combined score of 26-0. The Chiefs led with strong pitching from Conner Forster, Cameron Kalbfleisch, Dayton Miller, Trent Ison, and Jason Whitehill over the seven innings. The staff only surrendered 1 hit while striking out 15 Red Devils. Forster led the way with 5 strikeouts!
At the plate, the Chiefs' bats were on fire. Numerous players had multiple hits with Tyler Logsdon and Noah Banas tallying 3 hits each. Banas led the team with 5 RBIs on the day!
