CHIEFS FALL LATE 22-21...

Huron jumped out to a 21-0 half time lead only to fall 22-21 to Trenton. Cole Grunwald got thisg going with a 1 yard QB sneak in the 1st quarter and with the booming extra point by Owen Barnes the Chiefs lead 7-0. The next series Calib Henninger ran thru a big open opened up by his O line ( Evan Ryan , Jordan Schiller , Cameron Scott Gage Wizinsky and Jude Biggs) sprinted 35 yard for Huron's 2nd TD of the quarter. Barnes extra point was good and the Chiefs had a 14-0 lead. Henninger's run was set up by Grunwalds 45 yard scramble.  Chandler McCraight made an outstanding catch with 45 seconds left on a 21 yard TD pass from Grunwald and with Barnes 3rd extra point sent the Chief to the locker room with a 21-0 half time lead. The 2nd half was all Trenton as they scored 22 unanswered  points and the last 2 with 1:30 on the clock.

other outstanding players: Gabe Anthony had a couple nice catches and Dushawn Johnson drag wood be tacklers with some nice runs. Jude Biggs, DJ Fry Dalton LaVoy and Alexander Carr came up with some big tackles.
