LATE TD PASS SEALS WIN 35-20......

The Chiefs started slow in the game as the Railsplitters took the opening kick off and drove down the field to score to take a 8-0 lead. Huron’s offensive line flexed it’s muscle and some hard running by Calib Henninger the Chiefs tied the game 8 with a  Cole Grunwald touchdown run and 2 point conversion. On the next defensive series the defense recovered  Lincoln Park fumble and on the next play Grunwald hit Chandler McCraight with a 40 yard pass to set up Calib Henniniger’s 10 yards TD run. After another Lincoln Park turnover the Chiefs turned the rushing duties over to Deshaun Johnson who had the bulk of the carries and punched it in from the 15 yard line to put the Chiefs up 20-8. After another Huron defensive stand Henninger pounded the ball down to the 5 yard line where John Michael Lakatos scored his 1st high school touchdown and a Ethan Clay added the 2 point conversion for the 28-8 halftime lead. Lincoln Park scored to late touchdowns to get close at 28-22 but Grunwald hit Clay with a 65 yard touchdown pass for the final score to make it 35-22..

OTHER STAND OUTS: Defense - Codi (spider monkey) Clark , Kyle Kirby, and Antonio Talley played great defense against a much taller opponents. Brier Vendlands & DJ Fry hand numerous tackles. Jaidyn Jenkins caused a fumble.

Offense: Danyael Christian ,Garrett Russo and Cameron Scott blocked extremely well
