FLAT ROCK COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL: 49
The Chiefs lost a heartbreaker tonight at home 49-47. It was the best and hardest effort the boys have put forth this year. The Chiefs were tied with the Rams with one minute left with the ball and ran the clock all the way down 3.5 seconds and got fouled and went to the line. Dylan Kirk was clutch at the line missing the first but making the second. With 3.5 seconds left Flat Rock inbounded the ball and hit a buzzer beater at half court to win the game. Braden Hoffman had 20 points for the Chiefs and Dylan Kirk added 13. The boys played really well and executed to perfection down the stretch. But in the end Flat Rock made a big shot and took down the Chiefs. The Chiefs are 8-7 on the year 7-3 in the Huron League.
