BANAS DOMINATES ON MOUND IN 9-3 WIN......

Noah Banas pitched 5 shutout innings giving up 5 hits and striking out 7 for his 1st win in high school over Riverview. The game was tied going into the 3rd inning when Dayton Miller doubled down the left field line  and on the next pitch stole 3rd and with 1 one out Tyler Phillips executed the perfect suicide squeeze  bunt to score Miller to give the Chiefs a 1-0 lead. Huron broke the game wide open when they scored 8 times in the 5th inning with RBI's by Aiden Sainato (2) , Brad Hughes (2) Banas (1) , Miller (1), Curly (1) and Matsos (1). The Chiefs remain undefeated in league play.
