HURON FALLS TO AIRPORT 7-6..

Huron feel behind 5-0 after the 1st inning and could not overcome the early deficit. Kyle Kantola started and gave up the 5 runs on 5 hits. The Chiefs made a run in the 6th inning scoring 4 runs and thought they tied the score but a questionable call cost the Chiefs the tying run. With runners on 1st & 3rd and 1 out Tyler Ramsby hit a drive into the right centerfield gap. The Airport CF made a diving attempt and ruled a catch by the umpire. Brad Purcell tagged up and score what was thought to be the tying run but the umpire ruled that he left early and called him out. Huron had another chance to tie in the 7th Garrett Russow lead off with a single and with 1 out Chad Martin doubled him to 3rd. With 2 out they walked Connor Grant to load the bases and on a 3-2 pitch that was questionably low was called strick 3 to end the game. The Chiefs pounded out 15 hits - Kantonla-2 , Russow -2 , Jacob Handyside -2 , Conner Grant -2 , Brad Purcell -2 and Nate Morse has 2 hits
