HITTING LEADS THE WAY IN DOUBLE HEADER SWEEP ON MONROE C.C....

Huron bats warms up with the weather and pound out 15 hits in the 15-9 win. The Chiefs need the hitting due to 7 errors leading to 5 unearned runs. Tyus Poletti pitched three innings striking out 3 and giving up 2 earned runs. Issac Smith pitched the final 4 innings picking up the win. Smith allowed 2 runs ( 0 earned) and truck out 6 while walking none. Cole Grunward ( 4 hits , 6 RBI's 2 stolen bases and 3 runs scored), Ethan Webb( 3 hits, 4 RBI's and 2 stolen bases) and freshman call up Matthew Williams ( 2 hits , 4 runs and 2 stolen bases ) led the hitting attack.
