JV FALLS TO MONROE 13-12....

The Chiefs could not out slug the Trojans and lost 13-12. Huron fell behind 5-0 in the 1st and rallies to take a 7-5 lead with some clutch hitting by freshman Cole Grunwald , Shane Mitchell and Issac Smith. Monroe retook the lead in the 4th but the Chiefs re took the lead in the 5th with a 5 run inning Dion Bentley drove in a couple with a double. Monroe scored 2 in the bottom of the inning for the final score. Freshman Garrett Russow pitched well in relief of Tyus Poletti and Frankie Marvaso threw a scoreless inning.
