Warrior Classic 4/20/24

The Warrior Classic at Woodhaven High School presented a tough day for athletes due to high winds and low temperatures, significantly impacting field events and sprint performances.

The Huron Men’s Track team achieved a commendable 6^th place overall at the Warrior Classic, securing a spot in the top third of the competition. Leading the charge was Lucas Kuhn, accumulating 16.75 points. Kuhn claimed victory as the Warrior Classic Champion in the 1600M run (4:41.61 PR), fourth in the 800M run, and fifth in the 4x800M relay alongside teammates Luke Dulecki, Lucas Worrell, and Kyle Biller. Additionally, he contributed to a six-place finish in the 4x400M relay with Dylan Hudkins, Kyle Biller, and Hunter Mihal. Hunter Mihal clinched third place in the 400M dash while Cayden Kilby soared to third place overall in the high jump. Additional medals were earned by Luke Dulecki placing fourth in the 3200M run, along with Rocco Sells in the high jump and Dylan Hudkins in the 110M hurdles both placing sixth in their respective events and Cameron Crane finishing in seventh for the pole vault.
