MHSAA Track & Field Division 2 State Finals 6/4/22

Huron Boys Track blazed out of the season with all runners earning medals as All-State athletes placing in the top 8 in the state at the MHSAA State Finals. Antonio Talley had our top finish of the meet finishing in 4th place with his first sub 50. Talley’s time of 49.95 was just a tenth of a second away from a school record. Miles Fichtner, in the 110M hurdles, came into the meet ranked fourteenth and far surpassed ranking finishing in 6th place with a time of 15.57. Our 4×100M Relay (Isaac Smith, Gabe Anthony, Xander Scannell, Caleb Henninger) also surpassed their seeding of 24th and placed 7th overall bumping teams from two additional heats to earn a spot on the podium with a school-record time of 43.67. The previous school record was set at last year's state finals with Isaac Smith, Gabe Anthony, Ayden Roupe, and Caleb Henninger.

110M Hurdles: 6^th Miles Fichtner (15.57)

4x100M Relay: 7^th Isaac Smith, Gabe Anthony, Xander Scannell, Caleb Henninger (43.67)

400M Dash: 4^th Antonio Talley (49.95)
