Regional Meet 5/17/19

Nathan Glinski soared above the competition at the Regional meet on Friday, May 17^th. Glinski placed 2^nd overall, qualifying for the MHSAA Track and Field State Finals in the high jump, in a rare jump off to secure his spot. Also earning individual medals were McCraight in the high jump (7^th) and McKibben in the discus (8^th).

In the running events, the Chief’s relays once again had solid performances with all four relays placing in the top eight and earning medals. Altogether Huron brought home 19 regional medals.

3200M Relay: 4^th Drew Bean, Gabe Welch, Austin Fritz, Ayden Roupe

800M Relay: 6^th Jack Nickell, Gabe Anthony, Caleb Henninger, Tycen Stevens

400M Relay: 6^th Jack Nickell, Gabe Anthony, Connor McCraight, Tycen Stevens

1600M Relay: 8^th Austin Fritz, Nathan Holder, Drew Bean, Ayden Roupe

High Jump: 2^nd Nathan Glinski - State Qualifier, 7^th Connor McCraight

Discus: 8^th Ricky McKibben
