The Chiefs fell in the first round of districts to Gibraltar Carlson 29-40. The dual opened up with Drew Ladach and Landon Julio falling short in closely contested matches. Senior John Lakatos picked up a tech fall to put the chiefs on the board. After a void at 145 and Carlson picking up falls at 152, 160, and 171 the score was 30-5. Senior Jude Biggs stopped the bleeding for Huron picking up a decision at 189. A fall at 215 from Kael Wisler, a decision win at 285 from Wyatt Marentette, and a fall from Roman Pritt at 103 narrowed the gap to 23-30. After a back and forth match at 112, the Carlson opponent picked up the fall sealing the deal for Carlson. Junior Eric Radulescu picked up the fall at 119, and the Carlson 125lber picked up a major decision making the final score 40-29.
