Boys Varsity Wrestling vs. Multiple Opponents

The Huron Chiefs wrestling team finished 1-1 on Wednesday night defeating Lincoln Park 39-37 and falling to State ranked #3 Hartland 66-15. Senior Kael Wisler went 2-0 and defeated the #5 ranked wrestler from Hartland 11-4. Junior Wyatt Marentette also went 2-0 and survived an early deficit to comeback and pick up the fall against the wrestler from Hartland. Freshman Drew Ladach went 2-0 as well and completed an amazing comeback trailing his Hartland opponent 8-0 in the first period then coming back to take a 10-8 lead before picking up the fall late in the third. All three wrestlers Wisler, Marentette and Ladach improve to 9-0 on the year.
