JEFFERSON MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL: 33
Both teams came in to the event 6-0 in the Huron League. Huron pulled out the victory 48-33.
The dual started at 215 and Braden Damiani won by pin. At 285 Brendan Damiani wins by pin. Jefferson won by pin at 103, void at 112, decision at 119 and a void at 125. Jefferson pick up another pin at 130.
At 135 Dylan Carr picked up a 2nd period pin, Jefferson got one more pin at 140 making the team score 33-18 Jefferson. The Chief's came storming back to finish off the dual with five straight pins from Griffin Cholette 145, Kaleb Rosen 152, Nelson Poet 160, Kael Wisler 171, and Cody Brenner 189. For the final 48-33.
The Chiefs now have a commanding lead for their 3rd straight Huron League Championship. February 8th they will look to secure the title at the League tournament at Grosse Ile.
