Last night the Chiefs pushed their Huron League record to 6-0, setting the stage for a showdown next week with Monroe-Jefferson for the sole lead before league tournament.
The Wrestling Chiefs defeated Riverview 58-14 and Flat Rock 58-10. David Jividen, Owen Zablocki, Cameron Arold, Delmar Carr III, Bobby Copley, Adam Brenner, Cody Brenner, Trevor Mason, and Drake Pauwels all had two wins on the night.
The Chiefs are now 21-1 on the season and travel to Clio High School for a tough dual tournament and a chance to wrestle D2 rivals Eaton Rapids. This match-up could have state tournament seeding implications.
