AIRPORT HIGH SCHOOL: 27
In the opening Huron League quad of the year, the Chiefs defeated Grosse Ile 72-0 and Ariport 51-25. The Chiefs are not 12-1 on the season and 2-0 in the league. Double winners on the night were David Jividen 112, Owen zablocki 125, Griffin Cholette 130, Cameron Arold 135, Adam Brenner 152, Cody Brenner 160, Seth Eastridge 171, Lucas Brewer 189, and Drake Pauwels 215.
The highlight of the nigh was Cameron Arold's win over state ranked Jon Fritz of Airport 11-7. Arold avenged his lose to Fritz from last week at the Sheriff's Invitational.
Saturday the Chiefs will be at the Carlson Duals starting at 9am.
