Anytime you don't have your regular goalie in net, well, it's gonna be a long night.  KUDOS to junior Kenny Gribble as he stood between the pipes and played net for the first time in his high school career.  Kenny is a defensemen and did a great job with playing net.  He made alot of great saves and his teamates appreciate his effort.  Assisting on Harry's goals were freshman Brayden Sisty with 2 assists and linemate Bazel Wolf also with 2 assists.

Equally as impressive was the standout performance of Harry Dembowski.  He scored every one of the four goals for our team and was flying.  He sparked the team by scoring the first two goals of the game in giving the New Boston United team a BIG 2-0 lead.  At the end of the 1st period, NBU led 2-1.  That lead withered to a tie early in the second period.  St. Clair Shores United sensed the rookie in net and pummeled Kenny with shots from everywhere and scored 7 more before the end of the stanza.

The game ended in the 3rd period as SCS with the NBU actually out-shooting 32-24.  Like they say, "sometimes the score doesn't actually tell the story of the game."  SO TRUE...

Playing with 10 players initially and losing Logan Bloomer to a "lower body" injury, the team worked hard to the last minute of the game and gave their all.  Coach Murray and the team was proud of the work ethic and attitude during and after the game.
