EDSEL FORD HIGH SCHOOL: 3
The NBU hockey team completed their SEHL league with an impressive win 7-3 at the Brownstown Sports Center. The victory gave the team a Champion Title by going 8-0 against opponents: Dearborn Unified, Carlson, Southate and SMCC.
In the DU game, the team came out flying by scoring 3 goals in the first period and 2 more in the second period to take a commanding 5-1 lead before allowing DU to get a goal. Closing out the period and scoring for NBU was Evan Estes. Both teams exchanged goals in the 3rd period .Scoring for NBU were Zack Sawdy, TJ Potcova and Darren Barber with two goals. Clay HIghtower also scored. Getting assists were Logan Bloomer, Chris Begeman, Cole McNulty, Zach Hurd, TJ Potcova and Clay Hightower with 2 helpers.
Earning the victory in net was Senior netminder Cade Armstrong who goes 5-1 on the season.
