The combined forces of hockey players from Airport, Belleville, Flat Rock and Huron have United and become a new Co-op team known as NBU. 

They opened the season at home and skated away victoriously before their classmates, friends and family.  Behind  1-0 after the first period, Clay Hightower opened the scoring scoring an unassisted goal in the second.  Scoring again for the home teas was TJ Potcova-unassisted.  Freshman scored his first goal of his career on a deflection in front of the net by Potcova.  Southgate scored a goal late in the period to draw within one at 3-2. 

The third period was owned by NBU as they outshot the Southgate team and scored three goals.  Cole McNulty scored first with an assist by Bret Putnam.  Scoring next was Ethan Cagle who got a nice pass from Zach Hurd and finally it was Cagle again with a short-handed tally to close-out the scoring.  In net, Collin Page earned the win with a great game.
