In a SEHL match up, the New Boston United won in a wild game Saturday night.  With applied pressure in the offensive zone, the team to a 1-0 lead into the locker room after 1 period.  Scoring was Darren Barber-  unassisted.  Barber scored again with a shot to make in 2-0 early into the second period.

The defense was stifling on DU's Power Play for 5 minutes.  They did not have one shot in the entire penalty.  With 2 straight power plays, DU tied the game at 2.  Clay Hightower scored on a nifty shot across the net as the goalie slid from side-to-side to end the period with a NBU lead. His goal, also unassisted.  DU outshot and outplayed the NBU team as 13 minutes of the 17 played were short-handed or even as DU received penalties on their power plays.

In the third, DU scored 2 goals to take the lead 4-3 in front of a big home crowd.  Darren Barber took things into his own hands on scoring his third goal- a hat trick to tie the game at 4.  NBU then scored two more goals in quick fashion to stun the crowd.  Hightower notched his second of the night  with an assist from Ethan Cagle and then Zac Sawdy scored unassisted.  3 goals in 45 seconds as NBU to a 6-4 lead with only 5 minutes and change to go in the game!!  With 5 seconds to go on another minor penalty, DU scored its' 4th Power Play goal of the night to draw to a 6-5 deficit.  The D  held up and with very timely and steady goaltending by Sophomore Noah Kilmark, NBU won a thrilling game on the road.

The team now improves to 6-2.
