In a very exciting game at the Brownstown Sports Center, the two Huron and SEHL teams battled for three periods.  In the end, the New Boston United skated to a 3-1 victory.

Standout goalie Collin Page made 39 of 40 saves to earn the win in goal for the United.  The United took advantage with good offensive control and peppered SMCC with only 20 shots but 13 of them were quality opportunities.  Scoring for the home team was Zac Hurd who was set up by Clay Hightower and Evan Estes.  Scoring second for the team was Estes with assists to Bret Putnam and Tony Pentecost.

Defensively the United improved its' man-to-man coverage and  blocked a dozen or so shots with body or their stick. 

With their goalie puled in favor of an extra attacker, SMCC came close a couple of times, but in the end, timely plays saved the game.

Closing out hte scoring was Zac Sawdy who did a great job on the last shift of the game and was rewarded  with an empty-netter to seal the game away.
