In an exciting game at Trenton, the United team skated away with a 4-3 overtime win.  The opening stanza was a good one for the squad as they peppered Carlson with 17 shots on net with another 14 being blocked or missing the net.  The team took a 2-0 lead to the locker room with two goals from Senior TJ Potcova.  Assists were earned by Clay Hightower and Logan Bloomer.

The 2nd period was the opposite of the first.  With two 5-minute majors and a 2-minute minor, the squad had to fend off a hungry Carlson squad.  The Marauders scored two goal to knot the game at 2.  Senior goalie Collin Page stood tall and stopped 23 of 25 shots in that period.

In the third, Carlson scored their third of the game, another Power Play goal to take a 3-2 lead.  Both teams exchanged scoring chances and at 1:31, the United tied the score with a goal from Ethan Cagle.  Assists to Hightower and Evan Estes took the game to overtime.

In the OT, the United outshot the Marauders and won the game on a flurry of shots and a great shot from TJ Potcova for the win and a hat trick! With the win, the New Boston United squad is 3-1.
