Here is an update for our game played tonight versus South Lyon Unified.  New Boston-Belleville United skated away with a big 4-1 victory.  South Lyon (9-1 in league and now 12-9 overall) had their opportunities, with 11 Power Play chances but came up empty and not scoring on any of them.  The United boys played strongly in front of goaltender Ryan Mann who turned away 46 shots and clearing rebounds and moving men in front of the net.  The best defensive game in a while, NB-B cashed-in their opportunities with 2 short-handed goals and a Power Play of their own to "Seal the Deal" in the second.

Holding the blue line was Seniors Zac Murray and Jakob Patterson along with Junior Darren Barber, Sophomore Cole McNulty and Frosh Nathan Wincel.

Scoring for the NB-B United was Matthew Kosiba with 2 goals and 1 assist.  Also scoring was Cody Nill on a nifty breakaway.  Scoring the other goal was Senior Xavier Ryznar who has missed playing time to a nagging injury.  Assists went to Zac Murray, Darren Barber and Ryznar with two.

We improved to 10-12 on the season.
