Southgate and the NB-B played hard and after one period it was a 1-1 draw.  The New Boston-Bellleville United team out-played and out-shot the Southgate squad but did not capitalize on many of the opportunities.  FInally after intermission, the team scored three quick goals to open the period and take command of the game.

The opening goal was scored by Zac Murray who moved up to play forward for the game.  Assists went to Cole McNulty and Matthew Kosiba.  

The three ealry second period were Cody Nill unasisted and then a nice play by Zac Murray to a wide open Cody Nill in front with a one-timer to make it a 3-1 lead.  Scoing again was Zac Murray with assists to Darren Barber and Evan Estes.

With a 4-1 lead the third both teams scored but H-B scoored twice and Southgate only scored once. The two goals were scored by Darren Barber on a "top shelf" laser.  Assist went to Kosiba and Zavier Ryznar.  The last goal was for the Hat Trick scored by Cody Nill who has been skating well and raised his complete game in the last 2 weeks.

In net was Ryan Mann who earned the victory and a good win for the team.
