Huron Chiefs Down Flat Rock Rams, 4-1
The Chiefs took the first matchup against the Ram on Monday night by the score of 4-1.
In the second inning, Huron got their offense started when Issac Smith drew a walk, scoring one run.
Huron pulled away for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Isaac Smith doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
Gavin Moczydlowsky earned the victory on the mound for Chiefs. The righty pitched a complete game, allowing two hits and one run while striking out 14 and walking one.
Huron collected eight hits on the day. Connor Grant and Cole Grunwald each managed multiple hits for Chiefs. Connor Grant went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the offense attack in win.
