Fewer Hits Still Spells Win For Stevenson Against Huron Chiefs Varsity
Even though Huron Chiefs Varsity collected five hits to Stevenson's three, they still fell 8-7 on Saturday.
In the top of the third inning, the Chiefs tied things up at seven when Issac Smith singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
Xavier Elliott took the loss for Huron. The lefthander allowed two hits, 4 walks and five runs in one inning of work. Jaden Morse worked 5 innings in relief for the Chiefs
Matt Williams, Gavin Moczydlowsky , Isaac Smith, Connor Grant, and Rory Callahan each collected one hit to lead Huron.
