Huron Chiefs Take Down Lincoln Park Rails
The Chiefs went into Lincoln Park and take game 1 on Saturday byt the score of 7-2.
In the first inning, the Chiefs took an early lead on Micah Smith’s double to score Cole Grunwald.
Cole Grunwald led the Chiefs to victory on the pitcher's mound. Cole lasted six and two-thirds innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out 13.
Cole Grunwald, Micah Smith, Shane Mitchell, Bryce Smith, Jaden Morse, and Gavin Moczydlowsky all had one hit to lead Huron to victory. The Chiefs also stole seven bases during the game as two players stole more than one.
