Grosse Ile Captures Lead Early To Defeat Huron Chiefs Varsity
The Huron Chiefs watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 6-2 loss to Grosse Ile on Thursday.
Luke Coll took the loss for the Chiefs going 4 innings, allowing 6 runs on five hits and striking out four.
Huron had a hard time getting the bats going on a cold windy night on the island. The offensive bright spots for Huron was Micah Smith collecting 2 hits and Jaden Morse with an RBI double.
