Chase Molnar didn't allow a single run against Jefferson, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Huron Chiefs to a 13-0 victory on Monday
The Chiefs got on the board in the first inning when Ricky Emelian doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring Matt Williams. Huron notched four more runs in the sixth inning. Marvaso, Smith, Mitchell and Emelian all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Molnar was credited with the victory for Huron, as he surrendered zero runs on two hits over six innings, striking out five and walking zero.
The Chiefs scattered 12 hits in the game. Ethan Webb, Frankie Marvaso, Brenden Pasut and Ricky Emelian each collected two hits to lead Huron in the hit column. The Chiefs tore up the base paths with stolen bases, as Micah Smith and Brenden Pasut led the way with two each
