The Huron Chiefs nabbed the lead late in the game in an 8-7 victory over Allen Park on Saturday. The Chiefs tied the game up in the top of the seventh when Brenden Pasut hit into a fielder's choice and getting a run across the plate.

There was plenty of action on the bases as the Chiefs collected ten more hits against the Jags. Matt Williams opened opened up the game with sharp single to left and Ricky Emelian backed that up with a triple to deep left field. A misplayed fly ball off the bat of Ethan Webb allowed the second run to score in the inning.

Cole Grunwald started the game for the Chiefs. The righty lasted four and a third innings, allowing three hits and four runs while striking out four.  Huron's bullpen, led by Lake Warden, Jayden Craig and Chase Molnar, were able to close things out for the Chiefs. Jayden Craig was credited with the win and Chase Molnar collected the save for the Chiefs.

Williams, Molnar and Emelian each collected multiple hits for the Chiefs to led the way.
