Huron Chiefs Senior pitcher Thomas McSwain was brilliant on the mound on Saturday, as he threw a no-hitter to lead the Chiefs past Lincoln Park 11-0.
Huron got things moving in the first inning on an error scoring one run. The Chiefs tallied five more runs in the second inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Brendan Pasut and Shane Mitchell and doubles by Matt Williams and Ricky Emelian.
McSwain led the Chiefs to victory on the hill, by going five innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out three and walking one.
Huron tallied 11 hits. Mitchell, Pasut, Campbell and Molnar all managed multiple hits for the Chiefs. Huron played excellent defense and didn't commit a single error.
