Huron Chiefs Varsity Beats Belleville
Huron Chiefs Varsity was victorious over Belleville, 7-3.
Huron got things moving in the first inning. An error scored one run for Huron/
The Chiefs scored four runs in the fourth. With a big bases loaded blast from Rickey Emelian (Doubled with bases loaded) scoring all three runners that were on base. Cole Grunwald was the winning pitcher for Huron, allowing 5 hits, striking out 4 while only giving up 3 runs. Jayden Craig closed the door in the 6th and 7th inning not allowing a base runner. Craig got the save.
Jaden Morse, Emelian, Matt Williams, Shane Mitchell and Micah Smith all had hits for Huron. The Chiefs did not commit an error the entire game.
