- Lincoln Park fired up the offense in the first inning, they doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
- The Chiefs took the lead for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Scott Hinojosa singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Ethan Federle singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, and a sacrifice bunt by Sam Hughes scored one run for Huron .
- Isaac Yates pitched Huron Chiefs Varsity to victory. He went four and a third innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out three. Rickey Emelian threw two and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen. Emelian recorded the last eight outs to earn the save for the Chiefs.
- Chase Molnar led Huron Chiefs Varsity with two hits in three at bats. Huron was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Shane Thiel made the most plays with five.
