- Huron Chiefs Overcomes Flat Rock In Face Of Early 3-Run Inning
- Huron managed through a push by Flat Rock in the third inning where the Chiefs coughed up three runs, but Huron still won 7-3 on Wednesday.
- In the first inning, the Chiefs got their offense started. Brent Wright doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
- Huron pulled away for good with five runs in the third inning. In the third Anthony Wroblewski drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored two runs for Huron Chiefs , an error scored one run for Huron Chiefs Varsity, and Brett Dulecki to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.
- Chase Molnar took the win for the Chiefs. He surrendered three runs on three hits over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one.
- Wright went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Huron Chiefs Varsity in hits.
