- Huron Chiefs Varsity Stymied by Trenton, Lose 11-1
- It was a tough day on Saturday for Huron Chiefs Varsity, who lost 11-1 to Trenton
- Trenton fired up the offense in the first inning, when an error scored one run for Trenton.
- Trenton pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Adam Wilding doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs and Jay Solano singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
- Trenton scored six runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for Trenton came thanks to singles by Matt Woolsey and Kyle Richey and doubles by Ian Lozon and Wilding.
- Solano was the winning pitcher for Trenton. He surrendered one run on two hits over four innings, striking out three and walking zero. Zac Drumm threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
- Scott Hinojosa took the loss for Huron Chiefs Varsity. He went two and a third innings, allowing five runs on six hits, striking out one and walking zero.
- Ethan Federle and Brett Dulecki each managed one hit to lead Huron Chiefs Varsity.
