Huorn Cheifs Drops Game To Monroe High School After Late Score

Huron stayed in it until the end, but Monroe High Pulled away late in a 14-4 victory on Tuesday. The game was tied at four with Monroe batting in the top of fourth.

The Chiefs struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Monroe High, giving up 14 runs.

The Chiefs scored one run when Anthony Wroblewski doubled.

After Monroe scored one run in the top of the third, Huron Chiefs answered with one of their own. Huron then answered when Wroblewsk singled on the first pitch of the at bat scoring on run. Wroblewski had two hits on the day, two RBI's and a run scored.

Issac Yates started the game on the mound. He surrendered three runs on three hits over two innings, striking out one and walking zero. Joey DeVita, Sam Huges, John Cady and Brendon Robins each contributed in relief for Huron.
