Huron Splits DH with Belleville on Saturday (5-1) Loss and (6-4) Win

Huron defeated by Belleville in game one but clinches lead in sixth inning to defeat Belleville in game two.

Zach Taylor got the start for Huron in game one. He went six innings, allowing five runs on five hits and striking out three. Logan Garland threw on inning in relief out of the bullpen. Brett Dulecki and Brett McKay each had a hit.

The Chiefs rebounded in game two defeating Belleville 6-4 after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at four with Huron batting in the bottom of the sixth when Brett Dulecki doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs. 

Joey DeVita was the winning pitcher for Huron. He went two innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out two and walking zero. Logan Garland threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. 

The Chiefs varsity totaled ten hits in the game. Vincent Wroblewski, Christian Dioszegi, and Dulecki all had multiple hits for Huron. Wroblewski led the Chiefs with three hits in four at bats.

Brett Dulecki and Vincent Wroblewski each had three hits on the day for Huron and Christian Dioszegi was perfect at the plate 2-2 on the day.
