Monroe High School Runs Away with Early Lead in Victory
Huron Chiefs fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 4-1 loss to Monroe High on Monday. Steve Nowitzke was on the mound for the Chiefs. He surrendered four runs on four hits over four and a third innings, striking out two. Ben Schoncheck threw two and a third innings, striking out two.
Vincent Wroblewski, Zach Taylor, and Brent Wright each managed one hit each to lead Huron. Christian Dioszegi drove in Huron's only run.
