GEIGER LEADS GIRLS TO TITLE AGAINST MONORE... ..
The Chiefs led then tournament for most of the day but struggled down the stretch to finish in 2nd for qualifying. Huron pulled Huron league foe Flat Rock and took care of them easily 1215-1063 and on to finals against Monroe. This was an incredible match al the way, Huron jumped out to a big lead after the 1st baker game but Monroe came storming back to take a 27 pin lead going into the regular game portion. Shannon Geiger shot 225 to propel the girls to the win. Anna -Marie Richert subbed in and bowled great down the stretch with 2 strikes and 2 spares. Alyssa DeVita , Chelsea Hamilton , Amanda Williams , Julia Skowron and Jordyn Carrol bowled well thru out the tournament.
