CARROLL CLUTCH IN HUGE WIN OVER PREVIOUS UNDEFEATED AIRPORT....

Senior Jordyn Carroll didn't have her best day scoring wise but threw the biggest strike of the day when it counted. Huron won game one of the baker portion 158-145 but dropped game two 142-133 but went into the team portion up 6-4. Newcomer Chelsea Hamilton didn't falter under pressure and kept Huron in the match with clutch strike after strike. Sophmore Julia Skowron stepped in and marked in 5 of the final 6 frames to give Carroll the chance. With the game and probably any chance to win the Huron league Carroll stepped up needing a strike to win the game and give the Chiefs a big advantage heading into the final game. Carroll threw a great shot and left a wobbly seven pin that fell very slowly to give Huron a 793-792 win and a 13-6 lead heading into the final game. Shannon Geiger 212, Amanda Williams  210 and Julia Skowron 166 made sure that Airports comeback fell way short in their 894-811 win over unbeaten Airport.
