HURON WINS 4TH REGIONAL TITLE .. DEFENDS TITLE NEXT WEEKEND..

The boys won their 4th regional title in 10 years and qualified for States for the 9th year. The boys were solid in the baker portion making 98% of all makable spares and was 40 pins out from 1st. They crossed with 1st place Riverview and the Huron mojo was to much for the Pirate as the Chiefs beat them 898 - 823. Huron was still in 2nd place after game 1 behind Summit Academy. Huron posted 954 to move into 1st place where they would remain after posting a qualifying high game of 999 to with the Regional title. The team consists of Austin Wyszynski, Logan Wyszynski, Logan Garland , Brandon Hanson , Sam Hughes Ethan Steigerwald and Joey Devita. This was a total team effort when someone was struggling someone came in and picked them up . Steigerwald can in for Garland and proceeded to strike in 3 of 5 shots. The Chiefs will defend their title next Friday at Centrury Bowl in Waterford MI.
