UPSET MINDED RIVERVIEW FALLS SHORT....HURON IMPROVES TO 4-0
Riverview had an upset in their sights but the defending state champion had other ideas . The Pirates jumped out to a 6-4 lead after the baker portion of the meet and was fired up going into the regular matches. Huron led from start to finish game one winning 891-863 to go up 10-9 in the race for 16. Riverview came out on fire game two having a 60 pin lead at one point but Huron showed why they are Huron and proceeded to throw strikes in 16 of the next 24 frames to take a commanding lead in route to the 977-852 victory. Sam Hughes 213-205 led the way while freshman Donald Jacobs 200-199 , Logan Wyszynski 199 and Logan Garland's 199 rounded out the scoring . The come back win pushes the winning streak to 19 straight league wins.
