BAZZY FINISHES 2ND BY 1 PIN..........

In a back and forth race for the Regional title Drake Bazzy needed three strikes in the 10th frame against friend and Huron foe Johnathon Cole. Bazzy threw the first 2 strikes to add to the suspense and when he released his 3rd shot of the 10th everyone thought we were headed for a 1 game roll off. Drake threw a clutch shot but it was not to be as a stubborn 7 pin stood and he finished second by a pin 1431-1430 . Both men averaged 238 for the day. We had another exciting finish for the 10th and final spot as Hurons Zach Taylor and Trumans Chase Nester tied at 1240.  Both bowlers threw a string of strikes but Hurons Zach Taylor came out on top with a 235-224 win to take the last qualifying spot. Both young men will compete for a state title this Saturday  March 3rd at Superbowl lanes in Canton MI.
