RIVERVIEW COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL: 0
New Boston Huron played at home in a Huron League match against Riverview. Shay Carpenter started the scoring off when she assisted Rylie Cassette on the first goal. Maggie Warden laced up a direct free kick from the left side and went far side netting to end the game 2-0. Sophomore Brooklyn Burke, in only her 4th game, added her 4th consecutive shutout. Junior Addison Dolencic showed her strength again as a center back as she iced the forwards and allowed nothing near her goal. This was a crazy back and forth game that didn't showcase the true Chief's style. Unfortunately for all potential opponents, this group of girls can get it done with grit as well. When the technique is off the physical game is still on. What a tough bunch of girls.
