SOUTHGATE ANDERSON HIGH SCHOOL: 0
First game of Districts saw the Titans of Southgate take on the Chiefs. All four grade levels were represented on the scoring card with 2 freshmen, a sophomore, 2 juniors and a senior all scoring. Freshmen Maggie Mentzer and Ava Banko both scored. Sophomore, and leading goal scorer, Rylie Cassette, added two goals. Junior Kendyl Sikorski added two goals followed by junior Maggie Warden’s goal. Senior Mira Lazenby represented the class of 2023 with a goal. Assists were credited to Addison Dolencic, Hannah Purcell, Melissa Mentzer, Breeann Roupe, Kendyl Sikorski and Addison Bozynski. GK Riley Humeniak was credited with another shutout and got to see the field for sixteen seconds as a forward in the 2nd half before Warden scored the goal that completed the shutout.
