LENAWEE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL: 0
On Senior night, the host Chiefs were victorious over Adrian Lenawee Christian by a score of 2-0. Maggie Warden scored the game winner from an Izzie Pritt pass. Alexa Yoder put the Chiefs up 2-0 as she put home a pass from Grace Traster. Huron controlled the majority of the game and could have had more, but the Cougar netminder played an excellent game and made some outstanding saves to keep the game close. The Chief defense of Megan Scott, Layla Hamilton, Lily Cholette, and Olivia Manoa kept the shots to a minimum for Amelia Strochine who added to her school record of 29 career shutouts.
The Chiefs are now 8-5-3 for the season and open District play at Carlson on Wednesday at 4:30.
