The Chiefs traveled to Woodhaven and were defeated 4-2.  After a rough beginning, the Chiefs started playing some strong soccer against an extremely fast Woodhaven squad.  Woodhaven scored first on a breakaway, but the Chiefs battled back to tie the score 1-1 as Ashley Christesen fired a shot into the far corner of the net.  She was assisted by Cecily Hughes.  Woodhaven countered with another goal for a 2-1 advantage.  The Chiefs tied it up before the half as Grace Traster threaded a nice pass between defenders to a streaking Rylie Cassette for a breakaway goal.  Woodhaven scored the game winner with 11 minutes left in the contest and scored their fourth goal with a minute and a half left on a counter attack as the Chiefs were pressing for the equalizer.  Izzie Pritt and Cassette played a very strong game up front for the Chiefs and Lily Chollette was the defensive star, thwarting a few more Woodhaven breakaways.

THe Chiefs are now 1-2-1 for the season and will host Carleton Airport on Monday.
