The Chiefs traveled to Milan and came home with a 1-1 draw.  The Chiefs battled against a strong wind in the first half with neither team creating many scoring opportunities.  Halftime score 0-0.  Huron came out strong in the second half and scored within the first 10 minutes for a 1-0 lead.  Freshman, Rylie Cassette, outran the Milan defense pulling the Milan keeper to the very near side of the goal then slid the ball neatly across the face of the goal where Alexa Yoder finished it with a nice one-timer.  The lead didn't last long as Milan netted one of their two shots of the half from a long line drive that went just over the outstretched hands of Amelia Strochine.  The Chiefs kept pushing hard but could not find the game winner despite multiple chances.  Lily Cholette, Callie Eaton, Layla Hamilton, and Megan Scott played well defensively.  Cecily Hughes and Ashley Christesen worked well together in the middle of the field.

The Chiefs are 0-1-1 for the season and 0-0-1 in the Huron League.  The Chiefs host Carlson Thursday for a 6:00 kickoff.
