The Chiefs hosted the Kestrels of SMCC and were 4-0 victors.  Cecil Hughes scored the game winner 14 minutes into the match from a Bella Elliott pass.  Huron held a 1-0 halftime lead.  Ashley Christesen put the Chiefs up 2-0 a minute and a half into the second half.  Lily Cholette earned her way onto the score sheet as she tore up the right side of the field and hit a perfect shot into the upper left corner of the net.  She was assisted by fellow defender Bella Elliott.  Bella finished things off as she hammered home a rebound from a corner kick for a 4-0 Chief lead.  The defense of Layla Hamilton, Megan Scott, Lily Cholette, and Bella Elliott kept the Kestrels grounded as goal keeper, Amelia Strochine, only had to make 2 saves on the night for the shutout.

The Chiefs are 6-1-2 for the season and 5-1-1 in the Huron league.  The Chiefs travel to Woodhaven on Monday with a 5pm kickoff.
