RIVERVIEW COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL: 2
The Lady Chiefs tied Riverview 2-2 on a cold and windy night. Riverview took an early 2-0 lead, but the Chiefs cut the deficit to 2-1 just before the end of the first half as a Cecily Hughes through ball found Ashley Christesen on a breakaway that she tucked past the Riverview keeper. The Chiefs tied the game midway through the second half when a Bella Elliott shot found the upper corner of the net. The Chiefs could not find the game winner after dominating play in the second half. The Chiefs are now 2-0-1 for the season and 1-0-1 in the Huron League. Huron hosts Milan on Wednesday with a 6:00 kick off.
